How can we help?
Quick answers to the most common questions about N-Companion. Can't find yours? Write to us — a real person reads every message.
How do I log a meal?
Four ways, all from the plate on the Home screen: Point your camera at the food, Pick a photo from your library, Say it out loud, or Type it in a sentence. The Companion shows you what it understood — portions, calories, macros — and you confirm before anything is saved.
The analysis got something wrong — what do I do?
On the review screen, tap "Something not right?" and tell the Companion what to fix — "that was a small portion", "no butter" — and it updates its understanding before saving.
Where is my food history stored?
On your device. Your meal history lives locally in the app — our servers analyse meals but don't keep a food diary about you. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app deletes your food history, targets, and preferences — they only exist on your device. There is no account to close and nothing identifiable left on our side.
Does N-Companion work with Apple Health?
Yes — you can connect Apple Health so daily energy balance reflects your real activity. Health data is read on your device only and never reaches our servers.
Is the nutrition information medical advice?
No. N-Companion gives estimates to help you understand your eating patterns. It is not a medical device and doesn't replace advice from a doctor or dietitian — especially if you manage a medical condition.
